Terms of Service

By using npmuzei.org ("the Service") you agree to these Terms of Service. Read them in full. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service is free

npmuzei is a free directory of 300+ AI tools backed by open models served through our model providers. There's no account, no payment, no contract between you and us beyond these Terms.

You may use the Service for personal or commercial work. We don't claim ownership of anything you generate — the output belongs to you (subject to the underlying model providers' own terms).

2. Daily quota

Each visitor is allotted 1,000,000 free tokens per day shared across all tools. The quota resets at 00:00 UTC. The quota is enforced per cookie, per IP, and per /24 subnet. If you bypass it (proxy rotation, scripted requests, etc.) we may rate-limit or block you.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Generate content that violates any applicable law (CSAM, terrorism, fraud, defamation, etc.).
• Impersonate a real person without their consent.
• Generate spam, scams, phishing, or large-scale disinformation campaigns.
• Generate malware, exploit code targeting real systems you don't own, or content designed to facilitate hacking.
• Run automated requests at scale (web scrapers, headless browsers, bots) that bypass our rate limits.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract our API keys or source code.
• Probe for security vulnerabilities outside of a coordinated disclosure (email [email protected] for that).

4. Content responsibility

You are responsible for everything you send to the Service and for anything you do with the output. We don't pre-screen prompts or outputs. The Service is a tool — the responsibility for how you use it sits with you.

5. AI output limitations

AI-generated text can be wrong, biased, outdated, or misleading. Always review output before relying on it, especially for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions. See our Disclaimer.

6. Availability

We don't promise the Service will be available 24/7. Free model providers occasionally rate-limit us or go down. We retry across keys but sometimes you'll see an overload error — try again later. We don't owe credits or refunds because the Service is free.

7. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, npmuzei and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is capped at the greater of $50 USD or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (which is zero — the Service is free).

9. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms. Material changes will be noted on the homepage for at least 14 days.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service is operated. If a clause is found invalid, the rest remain in force.
